FAQ - SpiceBreeze Spices

My spice pouch doesn't have a spice list on its label. How do I know what is inside?

  1. Each pouch belongs to the recipe card that carries the same name of the dish. You can see a complete list of all spices for each pouch on the recipe card.
  2. Some recipes come with two or three pouches. In this case, you can find the ingredients listed on the recipe card for each pouch number separately. 

Do SpiceBreeze spice blends contain salt or sugar?

Sometimes, we add a complimentary spice blend sample without a recipe card. Those are usually meant as a tabletop seasoning and might contain salt or sugar. For the samples, the ingredients are listed on the pouch.

Our regular spice blends that come with a recipe card, don't contain salt or sugar. Exception are:
  1. We might make a single exception only, if it's absolutely necessary for the taste experience.
  2. Chilies crushed with the usage of salt.

How fresh are SpiceBreeze spice blends?

We buy our spices from carefully selected American importers and create all spice blends in small batches monthly right before shipping. Our customers love the freshness!

Are your SpiceBreeze spices natural and organic?

At SpiceBreeze we make sure that our spices are free of monosodium glutamate (MSG) and artificial and natural flavors and colors. 
We buy our spices from carefully selected American importers. If possible, we choose organic grown spices.

Do the SpiceBreeze spice blends contain preservatives?

Because we create all spice blends each month in a limited amount just as needed for the current orders, we don’t need to add preservatives.

Do SpiceBreeze spice blends contain allergens?

For very few recipes, we might add certain ingredients that are considered a food allergen, for instance, sesame seeds or seaweed. In any case, all ingredients are listed on the recipe card or on the spice pouch. If you can't use the received spice pouches because of such allergen, please contact us. We will be happy to send you an allergen-free substitute.

For all of our spice blends, we don't add any ingredients that are not declared on the recipe card. We create our spice blends in a commercial kitchen. Dairy, eggs, meat, fish, crustacean, nuts, soy, and wheat products might be used in the kitchen as well. We take all precautions to prevent cross-contamination, though, we can not give a guarantee.
